2012 DeKalb County Schools Farm to School Grant Program Application

Georgia Organics is soliciting proposals for Farm to School (FTS) projects promoting any activity that connects students, teachers, parents, community members, and/or  school food service staff.   Georgia Organics intends to award up to 8 schools from this solicitation.  Maximum funds to be allocated per project is $2,500. 

Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Jan. 27, 2011. Submit by email to erin@georgiaorganics.org, mail or in person to 200-A Ottley Drive, Atlanta, GA 30324.  Grants awarded on Feb. 10, 2012.  Note: All projects must be completed by June 30, 2012. Individual award winning schools will be responsible for administering grant funds. Funds cannot be spent prior to award notification. Awards only available for DeKalb County Schools.

These special mini-grants are funded through the DeKalb County Board of Health.
