Camp GO!

Send your kids to CAMP GO! Drop them with us for an all-day adventure from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 24, while you attend the conference. Children aged six to 12 are welcome. Our CAMP GO adventure will include outdoor activities, environmental education, skills, crafts and more.

Leslie Grant, founder of Chickin Feed, a company "growing healthy kids from scratch" is Camp director and Nichole Bluh, and urban farmer and founding staff member at Camp Truly Living Well will be helping to wrangle!

We'll start the day with an outing to Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center at Columbus State University, which uses nature to nurture young minds. Kids will experience live animal encounters, guided hikes on wetland trails, and tours of animal exhibits and gardens.

Our afternoon will include survival skills and nature crafts with Isia and Chris, two urban farmer/foragers of Crack in the Sidewalk Farmlet. Erin Croom's mom will be coming by to help the kids screenprint their own upcycled T-shirt and we might even get around to a little yoga.

The evening will down with some tent building, some fun tales and maybe a movie while the parents finish the Farmers Feast.

Lunch and dinner are included.
