Columbus, located on the Chatahoochee River at the Georgia-Alabama border, is a beautiful location for the 2012 Georgia Organics Conference.
The river is home to the 15-mile Chatahoochee RiverWalk trail, an excellent facility for walking, jogging or bike-riding. The renovated historic Columbus Iron Works, now the Convention and Trade center, once produced plows, as well serving as a munitions factory during the Civil War, and is today recognized as one of the nation’s finest examples of “adaptive reuse.”
We have two hotels available for conference participants, one located six miles from the conference center, and one adjacent to the facility.

RVs, Campers, and Tent Accommodations
Lake Pines Campground is extending Georgia Organics its lowest over night rate, which is $30.00 per night for two people in their own camper, trailer, or motorhome, and $24.00 for two people in a tent.
The campground has full RV hookups. a bathhouse with hot showers, and is located 12 miles from the Convention Center, at 6404 Garrett Road, Midland (Columbus) GA 31820.
