Description180˚ Farm, a non-profit organization, will host two spring workshops on Saturday, March 20th and Sunday, March 21st, 2010. Workshops will be led by Jay Salinas, former Co-Director of the highly acclaimed Growing Power in Milwaukee, He will teach an economical way to construct hoop houses on March 20th from 8am to 5pm and the art of soil management and nutrition (composting)on March 21st from 12:30pm to 5PM.

* Can be modified to fit your growing area or backyard

8-9:00- Sign in and introductions.
9-10:00- Introduction to the hoop house and it's uses
10-12:30- Making a jig, bending pipe, laying out hoop house and begin to erect.
12:30-1:15 Lunch
1:15-5:00- Finish erecting hoops, attaching purlines, building endwalls and pulling & securing plastic

Specific directions will be sent out prior to the event.
Cost$65 GO Members / $75 Public for the Hoop House workshop on March 20th or $115 GO Members / $125 Public for both the Hoop House workshop on March 20th and the Composting workshop on March 21st.

Georgia Organics Members receive a $10 discount.

Lunch is included on Saturday.
