| Description | Forsyth County Master Gardeners will hold their Annual Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, May 1 from 10am-4pm, offering high-quality garden plants grown expressly for the sale. Look for heirloom tomatoes, perennials with colorful foliage, a wide assortment of culinary herbs, blooming annual baskets for Mother’s Day, assorted vegetable plants, daylilies, and more. The location for this annual sale will be at The Avenue Forsyth, in the lot between Furniture Express and Hwy. 141. The exit off GA 400 is Exit 13, Bethelview Road and Hwy. 141.
The Master Gardeners will also be standing by to answer any and all of your gardening questions.
Funds from the sale are used to provide the educational programs offered throughout the year and to maintain the gardens at the Forsyth County Public Library’s three branches (Cumming, Sharon Forks and Hampton), and the Louise Mashburn Native Plant Garden at Sawnee Mountain Preserve, among others.
Forsyth County Master Gardeners are energetic, hard-working volunteers who have completed the Georgia Master Gardeners course series offered each year through the University of Georgia by the Forsyth County Extension Office.
