Georgia Organics hosts our 10th Anniversary Conference featuring keynote speaker Joel Salatin, one of the nation’s most renowned sustainable farmers and recently profiled in Michael Pollan’s bestseller Omnivore’s Dilemma. This year’s three-day conference will include more than 20 cutting edge workshops, in-depth educational sessions, farm tours, an on-farm field day with Joel Salatin and the ever-popular Organic Banquet featuring local and organic foods and the culinary talents of Georgia chefs. Last year’s conference drew 325 attendees including farmers, gardeners, consumers, culinary representatives and agricultural professionals.

In addition to keynote speaker Salatin, this year's highlights include Atlanta chefs Cathy Conway and Michael Tuohy joining forces on the Organic Banquet, two different farm tours (one featuring Paulk Vineyards, Georgia's 2006 Farmer of the Year), and a full-day field day with Joel Salatin at C&M Earthworks on Saturday. And you won't want to miss Thursday evening's feature when farm advocate Justin Ellis' recounts tales of his 5,000 bicycle ride across America in search of the soul of America's small farms.

Conference scholarships are available to offset all or part of the conference registration costs:
