About the program:
This program is designed for employees of food processors, both members and potential members of the Southeastern Food Processors Association (SFPA), to enhance and update their knowledge in various food safety and quality facets of the rapidly changing food processing industry. There is a continued need to improve food safety and quality in optimizing your business.
This year’s agenda will focus on four areas:
• Passing Third Party SQF Audits
• Improving performance through Lean Manufacturing
• Solving problems in Food Manufacturing
• Understanding what the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2011 means to you
This day and a half program is designed to update your employees with the most current information in these areas and send them home with a greater understanding of how to meet the challenges of today’s fast paced industry.
Learn how to successfully pass SQF third party audits and how to validate your food safety programs.
Lean Manufacturing (Six Sigma) principles and techniques offer powerful ways to enhance product quality, improve process performance and drive change.
Root Cause Analysis can be used to solve complex problems in manufacturing utilizing a logic-based process.
The food industry is faced with the new challenges of the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2011. You will hear from the FDA about their future expectations of food processors.
This is a great opportunity to network with food processors from around the Southeast! Hope you'll take advantage of it!
