Georgia Organics Farm Supply

Georgia Organics Farm Supply Winter Order

Georgia Organics is coordinating a winter bulk order of farm inputs such as fertilizers and soil amendments for current farm members.   There will be drops in Atlanta near the Georgia Organics office, one in Athens at Woodland Gardens and another at Longwood Plantation in Newington, GA (SE Georgia).   Orders are due Jan. 27.

The Process

 
1. Download the Georgia Organics Farm Supply order form  

2. Identify what you want to order and how much.   Click on the link  to 7 Springs Farm to view product availability and pricing.   In most cases, you will recieve the lowest price listed regardless of quantity.  .

3. Enter your order on the form you downloaded in #1 and e-mail to jonathan@georgiaorganics.org no later than Jan. 27th. 

4. By Feb. 1st you will receive the total price of your order - we need all the orders first in to determine the shipping and handling. 

5.  Taxes.  Follow this link to the Georgia Department of Revenue’s Form ST-A1, Agricultural Certificate of Exemption – Sales and Use Tax.  This form, which should be completed by a qualifying agricultural purchaser (you)  and given to seller of the exempt items (Georgia Organics), contains a complete list of the goods which are exempt from the 4% state sales tax, when purchased for use in an agricultural trade or business.

6. Your payment will be due to Georgia Organics no later than Feb. 3rd.  Only credit or debit cards will be accepted, payment in full to process you order.  You card number is asked for on the order form, and will not be processed until you have seen and agree to the final price.  Georgia Organics can only accept VISA, Mastercard and Discover.

7. Each location will have at least two pick up dates.   The three pick up locations are:  

• 170-B Ottley Drive, Atlanta GA 30324 -  Feb 15 and 16, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• 1355 Athens Road, Athens, GA 30683 - Feb. 9 and 15,  9:00 - 11 a.m. (fork lift on 9th only)
• 1549 Pryor Road, Newington, GA 30446  - Feb. 13 and 14,  9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
