Without farmers, we don’t eat.

Fresh, healthy, and safe food is needed now more than ever, so we must prioritize farmers.

Georgia Organics is the oldest statewide nonprofit providing direct support to small and organic farmers.

We connect organic food from Georgia farms to Georgia families.

Georgia Organics has been rooted in providing direct support to small and organic farmers across our state since the 1970s. In 1997, we formally incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and hired our first full-time leader and current CEO, Alice Rolls in 2004.

Our 17-member team champions organic agriculture and healthy families by prioritizing farmer prosperity, engaging children with good food in their cafeterias and classrooms, and convening local leaders to address their own food access issues by making organic and local food accessible to all.

Our statewide work is fueled by the support of our members and partners. Follow us at Facebook.com/georgiaorganics and @georgiaorganics on Instagram and Twitter.

Good Food (Stories) for All

Food and stories connect us all.

Georgia Organics maintains several key storytelling channels to share the voices of the people who grow and prepare our food with our audiences.

The Dirt is dedicated to sharing written stories of Georgia’s good food movement with eaters so they understand the food that fuels our community.

Through The Georgia Foodcast and The Atlanta Foodcast we also share these stories through video and audio podcasts that spotlight chefs, farmers, and good food small businesses in all parts of Georgia’s good food movement.
