MEMBERSHIP FOR FARMERS

If you grow fruits, vegetables, flowers, grains, raise animals, or keep bees, are a soil-based farmer, and are selling your products, you are eligible to become a Farmer Member. Farmer Membership is the first step in becoming part of the Georgia Organics farmer community. As a Farmer Member, you are eligible to apply for Farmer Services opportunities and support such as: 

  • Tier One (one-on-one long-term support) including Accelerator Mini-Grant Program, Climate Smart Farmer Program, and Apprenticeship Program

  • Tier Two (one-on-one short-term support) including Organic Technical Assistance and Kaiser Community Health Insurance  Program

  • Tier Three (general farmer support) including Organic Cost Share, Emergency Farmer Fund, Cooperative Purchasing, and Farmer Field Day programming 

Additionally, members receive year-round perks like discounts to Georgia Organics events and conferences, first spots to farmer-centric educational activities, free job postings on goodfoodjobs.com, and more! FARMER SERVICS PROGRAM AND SERVICE ELIGIBILITY

By joining as a Farmer Member, you become eligible to apply for direct support through Georgia Organics’ Farmer Services programs, including: 

  • Accelerator Coaching Mini-Grants

  • Accelerator Strategic Capital Mini-Grants

  • Farmer Health Mini-Grants

  • Kaiser Community Health Insurance 

  • Emergency support through The Farmer Fund 

  • Conference and event scholarships
