Georgia Organics and McIntosh S.E.E.D. are hosting a Farmer Field Day on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at JM Coleman Farms in Uvalda, GA. The field day will focus on conservation practices, sustainability, and connecting farmers to risk management resources. 

The field day will include a farm tour and educational sessions, including hearing from Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) representative Vontice Jackson and Dr. James Brown from Fort Valley State University (FVSU). Several partner farms and organizations will be present to connect with farmers, including the USDA Risk Management Agency, UGA Extension, Ag Solar Solutions, the Athens Land Trust, and more!
