Georgia Organics is hosting an Organic Growers Farmer Field Day: Resilient Whole Farm Production and Planning at Lola’s Organic Farm in Glenwood, GA.
The field day will include a farm tour by Lola’s Organic Farm and will feature educational sessions focused on organic conservation field practices, organic transition resources, agroforestry diversification and site planning, and crop insurance and mitigation strategies. Speakers will include Vontice Jackson (NRCS), Matt O’Connor (Georgia Forestry Commission), and Georgia Organics staff.
This field day will be highly valuable for:
Certified Organic and transitioning to organic growers
Diversified producers, farmers, and landowners
Growers interested in learning about agroforestry
Growers interested in learning about climate smart conservation practices
Growers interested in learning about whole farm planning and risk management practices
Registration is free and required to attend the field day. If you would like to join us for the Organic Growers Farmer Field Day, visit bit.ly/fsogffdnov25 to register for the field day by Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Note: Attendees must register for tickets individually; if you are part of a group, you must each register separately. Please only register for a ticket if you are confident of your availability on Nov. 6 and are committed to attending the field day. Late dropouts and no-show registrants take away seats from other farmers and reduce the impact of the event.
